Quick answers
Where are my app records?
They are stored on your device with SwiftData and, when available, synced through your private iCloud database. Ecopoiesis cannot browse or restore that private database.
Why is a second device not syncing?
Confirm both devices use the same Apple Account, iCloud Drive and PermaSage’s iCloud access are enabled, storage is available, and both devices have a network connection.
What is sent for analysis?
Only after you tap Analyze My Land, the current request includes ZIP code, acreage, soil type, topography, goals, and—when a valid saved boundary exists—a coarse, location-free plan. It does not include journal entries, photos, care actions, raw coordinates, or site or element names and notes.
Are drawn lines legal boundaries?
No. PermaSage lines describe the area you chose to work with. Confirm legal boundaries, access rights, easements, utilities, and permissions independently.
What happens if I delete the app?
Removing the app deletes local data from that device, but it may not delete the private iCloud copy. Records may return after reinstalling with the same Apple Account.
Can Ecopoiesis delete my land profile?
No. We do not control your private app database. Use PermaSage’s deletion controls so deletions can sync through CloudKit. We can delete records we control, such as email-list or support records.
Subscriptions and billing
Apple processes iOS purchases and subscriptions. Ecopoiesis cannot view full payment credentials or cancel an Apple subscription for you. Manage it through device subscription settings or Apple’s subscription-management page. Refund requests follow Apple’s current support process.

Before sending a technical report
- Confirm you are using the latest available PermaSage and iOS versions.
- For maps or analysis, confirm that the device has an internet connection.
- For photo selection, check the access granted in iOS Settings.
- Include the exact error message and the steps that produced it.
- Remove private coordinates, photographs, goals, and land details from screenshots unless they are essential.
